– 1/2 cup (120ml) milk

– 2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– For the Fruit:

– 1-2 cups of fruit (like peaches, apples, or blueberries)

– For Garnish:

– Powdered sugar for dusting

•INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.

2. Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

3. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

4. Mix Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. Combine Everything: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.

6. Add Fruit: Gently fold in your chosen fruit.

7. Pour and Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
