1 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup heat water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 half of cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup chopped clean parsley (optional)
1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
•INSTRUCTIONS:
Preparation:
In a massive bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
Making the Dough:
Add the heat water and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
Mix till a gentle dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a gently floured floor and knead for about 5 minutes, till clean and elastic.
Cover the dough with a smooth towel and let it relaxation for 10 minutes.
Preparing the Filling:
In a medium bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella, crumbled feta, and chopped parsley (if using).
Forming the Flatbreads:
Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
Roll every element into a ball, then flatten it into a 6-inch circle.
Place 1/4 of the cheese mixture in the core of every circle.
Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to shape a sealed pouch, then gently flatten it into a spherical flatbread.
Cooking:
Heat a giant skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Place the flatbreads in the skillet and prepare dinner for 3-4 minutes on every side, till golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Finishing:
Brush the cooked flatbreads with melted butter.
Let them cool barely earlier than serving.
