Quick Skillet Bread

•INGREDIENTS:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 tsp baking powder

1 cup warm water

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for cooking)

•INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Prepare the dough: In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add warm water and mix until a soft dough forms.

2. Knead: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes until smooth.

3. Divide: Divide the dough into two equal portions and flatten each into a round shape, about 1 inch thick.

4. Cook: Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with olive oil or butter. Cook each bread round for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through.

5. Serve: Let the bread cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with butter or your favorite topping!
