Cherry Bliss Cheesecake Bars

•INGREDIENTS:

Crust:

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup melted butter

Cheesecake Filling:

2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

Cherry Topping:

1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling (or fresh cherries cooked in sugar syrup)

 

•INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Prepare the Crust:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan.

Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.

2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:

In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.

Spread the filling evenly over the cooled crust.

3. Add the Cherry Topping:

Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the cheesecake layer.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
